Psychonauts has been one of my all-time favorite games since early high school. I had always been interested in making physical items from the games I loved, and embroidery was a logical skill to learn with my years of sewing experience.

 

These patches were prototyped in 2013 as a personal project and were noticed by Doublefine employees through social media.

 

An initial patch run of 100 full sets was agreed upon which were sold through the Doublefine store website. The mass production of the patch designs are currently handed through Fangamer.com

These patch designs were also available through the reward tiers on Doublefine's Fig campaign for the most excellent and long awaited game Psychonauts 2 which is currently in development.

Materials include poly-satin field material, polyester thread, and iron-on adhesive backing. All patches were stitched with a single needle Pfaff machine and finished by hand.
